As part of the VOX Sustainability practice group, Alex focuses on energy and corporate social responsibility (CSR) communications for a range of clients and maintains strong relationships with Massachusetts media as well as some of the nation’s top environmental and CSR reporters. He is trained in the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) sustainability reporting process. Alex is also a member of the VOX Social Media practice group and works with clients on social media strategy to actively engage followers on a variety of social media platforms.
Prior to joining VOX Global, Alex served as an intern for O’Neill & Associates, a government relations practice located in Boston. There he was primarily involved in communication and grass roots advocacy campaigns regarding energy and utilities, gaming and real estate development.
Alex earned a B.A. in Communication and Political Science at the University of New Hampshire. His passion for sustainability and public affairs started when he attended The Island School, a program that explores the cultural and environmental landscape through student-centered academics and outreach programs that practice a project-based approach to local collaboration.
Outside of work, Alex is particularly passionate about surfing, skiing, scuba diving and spending time with his family who all live in the Boston area. Volunteerism is also important to Alex, and he has a long history of advocating for individuals and families affected by autism and special needs.
