As a member of the VOX Digital Communications team, Carmen works to craft design, illustrations and animations to improve client reputation and educate audiences on a variety of topics relevant to the client’s objectives.

By combining art with technology, Carmen accomplishes unique solutions to design challenges. Carmen works with clients on presentations, websites, eNewsletters, infographics and other design projects from beginning to end to ensure the story told is not only the way the client envisioned, but is delivered in a visually compelling and strategic way.

Prior to joining VOX, Carmen worked as an art instructor at The Art Institute of Weston in Miami, FL. She helped young children find their own artistic abilities. Carmen also found unique ways to develop and introduce new exercises that challenged their creativity and sparked their curiosity for the world of art.

After leaving her job as an art instructor, Carmen worked in the Michel Oka Doner art gallery where she assisted the local artist and curator during the Art Basel month in Miami Beach, Fl. She oversaw and rolled out design strategies/operations of the gallery leading up to the opening day.

Carmen graduated magna cum laude from The Savannah College of Art and Design where she earned a degree in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. During her time at SCAD, Carmen learned how to excel and master the art of design.

In her free time, Carmen enjoys drawing/painting and hanging out with friends. She loves traveling and hopes to visit as many places as she possibly can.
