Biography
Prior to being transferred to Vox Global in DC, Frederik worked as a public affairs consultant in the Brussels office of Fleishman-Hillard, where he provided strategic support to his clients with respect to their advocacy efforts at the European Union level. As a member of the Financial Services Practice, he covered a broad range of policy fields, such as banking and insurance regulation, corporate governance, commodities trading, carbon markets and competition policy.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Frederik worked in the private office of Günter Verheugen, the European Commissioner for Enterprise and Industry. He has also had working experience in the French Embassy in Berlin, the French Conseil d’Etat, as well as in the German Ministry of Internal Affairs.
His academic background includes a Masters in European Integration from the College of Europe in Bruges, a diploma from Sciences Po, Paris, as well as a Masters in political science from the Freie Universität, Berlin.
He speaks German, French and English.
Being both of French and German nationality, Frederik has a natural passion for European history and literature. In his free time, he can be found cycling up steep mountains or playing golf.
