Gena brings deep technical and design expertise to the digital projects she leads for VOX. As a member of VOX’s digital practice group, she skillfully explains complex digital concepts and helps clients understand their needs. She is also a stickler for the details, ensuring perfection on every project she manages.
Prior to joining VOX, Gena spent 10 years at Top Shelf Design, a boutique graphic and web design firm, as their Creative Director. She worked with a wide range of clients including Cotton Inc., University System of Maryland, American Museum of Natural History, and a wide range of local associations and small business start-ups. She started collecting awards for her work in 2001, and was most recently awarded for her web work with the National Retail Federation.
Gena is a graduate of the Journalism school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she became a die-hard Tar Heel basketball fan.
Gena is a Washington DC native (yes, really!) and lives with her family on Capitol Hill. She affectionately refers to her house as ‘the zoo’ where she provides a home to four animals and three humans.
