At VOX, Hilary is a member of the sustainability, nonprofit and education practice groups and has supported clients in the environment, food and beverage, technology and retail sectors. She helps her clients align profit and purpose by building and executing environmental and social programs and communicating the results through campaigns that include traditional and social media, video and stakeholder outreach.
Trained in the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) framework, Hilary project managed AT&T’s 2012 sustainability report and helped write AT&T’s 2011 and 2010 and Crocs’ 2012 sustainability reports. She also has secured media placements for clients in USA Today, Bloomberg, Forbes and CNET and currently oversees the national communications rollout for a major corporate-nonprofit collaboration on water management.
Prior to joining VOX, Hilary studied for a year at Beijing University and worked at the nonprofit Global Village Beijing and in the Regulatory Affairs Department of Monsanto Beijing.
Hilary has a Master’s degree in Global Environmental Policy from American University. She previously graduated magna cum laude from American University’s School of International Service with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in International Studies, a concentration in International Environmental Politics and minors in Economics and Mandarin.
Hilary is re-learning what it means to have free time after finishing graduate school. With her newfound freedom, she’s been flexing her green thumb in community gardens and exploring DC’s growing restaurant and microbrewery scene.
