At VOX, Kristina creates imaginative and impactful media campaigns for a wide variety of clients.
As a member of the digital practice group, Kristina assists in developing advertising plans based in thoughtful research and woven together with a meaningful story. She draws on her multi-disciplinary background to ensure the right tools and the right messages are employed to help her clients achieve their business and campaign goals.
Before joining VOX, Kristina honed her skills as a marketer and storyteller in a mix of startup and advertising positions. Just after college, she joined a team of two at a local online magazine startup where she was responsible for all manner of email marketing, social media, PR, event and editorial work. Once she arrived in DC, she worked for a financial tech startup where she performed a wide range of B2C marketing work. During her time in advertising, she held both tactical and strategic roles, with a strong focus on social media and content marketing.
Kristina received her Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Francophone studies from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee with a minor in Global Studies. She spent her junior year abroad at the Université de Paris VIII while teaching English at two middle schools in the Paris suburbs. On campus, she worked summers as a New Freshman Orientation Leader and throughout the school years, at the UWM Foundation as a telefundraiser.
Outside of the office, Kristina keeps herself busy training for races, exploring new parks with her dog and finding new ways to cook and eat pasta. A Wisconsin girl through-and-through, football season is taken seriously in the Carson household, complete with a weekly chili cook-off against her husband.
