Marcella resides in Texas where she works full-time at the AT&T Global Headquarters in Dallas. As part of the corporate public affairs team, her responsibilities include employee/stakeholder communications and implementation and coordination of strategic public affairs messaging and campaigns. Marcella has expertise in education, government, public health and social marketing programs.

Biography

Prior to joining VOX, Marcella spent three years with Ogilvy Public Relations in Washington, D.C. working with government, corporate, nonprofit and entertainment industry clients on both national and local issues.  During this time, she managed award-winning campaigns for Jones New York In The Classroom, a program aimed at encouraging corporations to join together to improve the quality of education for America’s children, and The Heart Truth, a government-sponsored campaign promoting awareness for women and heart disease.  Both of these campaigns required her to secure top-tier sponsorship and partnership opportunities for national road show tours, grassroot training programs and special events.

In 2008, Marcella joined the Dallas office of Fleishman-Hillard where she managed media relations for BlueCurrent, Fleishman-Hillard’s consumer marketing team.  In that role, she was responsible for developing and managing media relations strategies and plans for healthcare, education and corporate philanthropy accounts.

Marcella has planned and executed intensive media outreach and grassroots campaigns, and has worked with influential national and local media outlets, including the Today show, USA Today, Glamour, AARP, The Wall Street Journal and Univision.  She has professionally executed numerous high-profile events for the entertainment industry, various C-level executives and high-ranking government officials including, former U.S. President George W. Bush, First Lady Laura Bush and U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin.

At VOX, Marcella has worked with AT&T to leverage employee communications, support corporate citizenship and sustainability speaking opportunities and provide executive messaging support.

Marcella has a B.B.A. from The University of Texas McCombs School of Business.  She currently resides in Dallas, Texas.

In Texas, you will find Marcella hanging out with her family in San Antonio or antique shopping with friends in Dallas. On the weekends, Marcella can be found watching her Texas Longhorns WIN on the field and on the court. Hook’em.
