Biography
Sarah is co-located on site at AT&T corporate headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Her responsibilities include executive event and speech writing support, as well as development, implementation and coordination of strategic public affairs messaging and campaigns. As part of her duties, Sarah is responsible for coordinating messaging and issues management both within AT&T’s public affairs organization and across the company’s various business units.
Prior to her work with VOX, Sarah worked with the Sacramento office of Fleishman-Hillard as an in-house consultant to SBC Communications. As an integral part of the SBC California legislative affairs team, Sarah helped formulate and execute legislative, regulatory and political initiatives.
Before joining Fleishman-Hillard, Sarah worked for Public Strategies Inc., a public affairs consulting firm based in Austin, TX. She also served as a Center for California Studies Executive Fellow working in the executive office of California State Attorney General Bill Lockyer in Sacramento, California. Upon completion of her fellowship, she worked for the California Democratic Party, overseeing the California State Assembly direct mail program for the November 2002 election and the speaker program for the 2003 State Convention.
Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Union College in Schenectady, New York and her Masters of Public Policy and Administration from California State University, Sacramento. She lives with her husband, A.J. in Sacramento.
Sarah and her husband spend weekends and most of their free time pedaling their way around northern California. Their shared love of cycling supports their other passion with is good food and great beer.
