Meet Dale Ingram

Dale Ingram is a vice president with VOX Global, where he joined after more than 25 years of providing public affairs, public relations and branding leadership and counsel to some of America’s leading enterprises.

At Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Ingram served as the director of public relations and international public affairs as the world’s largest retailer expanded its public-image building initiatives in the late 1990s.

In telecommunications, Ingram was vice president of public relations for Alltel Wireless as it transitioned into a private company in 2007.   Previously, he worked at SBC Communications for 12 years in a variety of roles, including executive speechwriting, constituency relations, employee communications and government affairs.

In the technology and data management fields, Ingram for seven years was director of public relations for Acxiom Corporation, the largest processor of consumer marketing data in the world and a frequent target of privacy advocates and regulators.

Ingram also gained experience in the non-profit world as director of branding and communications for Heifer International, a global hunger and poverty relief organization.

Ingram, who is based in Little Rock with VOX, was the Washington correspondent for The Tulsa (Okla.) Tribune in 1983.  He graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1980 with a journalism degree.
