Washington, DCAnn Davison is a Senior Vice President and Partner with VOX Global. Her special area of expertise is helping clients plan and execute large-scale communications programs to raise awareness and shape attitudes with the goal of changing individual behaviors and/or public policies.
Davison has worked to design a campaign to enact meaningful climate change legislation, minimize barriers to the introduction of alternative fuels in the US marketplace, and help several major corporate brands develop and communicate Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability strategies. In addition she has led strategic messaging sessions for clients, conducted individual and group media training and helped individuals improve their public speaking skills.
Prior to joining VOX in January 2008, Davison worked in the Washington, DC and Miami offices of Fleishman Hillard. She chaired the firm’s Social Impact Practice group and managed major government campaigns to reduce teen drug use and increase participation in the USDA Food Stamp Program. Davison has also served as Communications Director for a White House-sponsored environmental education program under the direction of Vice President Al Gore and as a legislative counselor and personal assistant to the head of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Carol M. Browner. Previous to joining the Executive Branch, she served seven years on the staffs of U.S. Senators Lawton Chiles and Bob Graham of Florida.
