Bob Corney is a Senior Vice President with VOX Global.  He has nearly 20 years of public affairs, political and public relations experience and most recently served as Senior Advisor and Communications Director for Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen. 

Corney works primarily for AT&T directing public affairs activities in Tennessee and Kentucky.  He has extensive political and public service experience at the local, state and national level including a four year stint as Deputy Director of Advance for Vice President Al Gore.

Corney’s career began as an unpaid intern for the Tennessee Democratic Party in the late 1980’s before joining the staff of Senator Al Gore, eventually serving as Deputy Director of Advance in the Vice President’s office.  Corney has extensive campaign experience at the local, state and national level and is most well known for his management of statewide Democratic coordinated campaigns.  Corney also managed his own public relations firm in Tennessee working with a broad group of clients ranging from publicly traded corporations to small non-profit agencies.
