Let the races begin…

Tuesday, February 2, marks the beginning of the 2010 elections.  Illinois, the home state of President Barack Obama, hosts the first primary in the nation.  This will be followed a month later by a big primary in Texas.  Then the primary season begins in earnest in May, with a majority of states holding their elections before the end of June.

Was Tuesday Telling?

As usual after off-year elections, pundits cannot agree on what the outcome of the November 3, 2009 election may mean for the 2010 Congressional elections.  Some pundits are saying that the 2009 results were a harbinger of things to come and some are suggesting there is no reason for Democrats to be concerned.
