Prior to joining VOX, Hannah served as the Chief Communications Officer, advisor, and media relations strategist for the Hogsett Administration, overseeing communications for economic + community development, city planning, housing and homelessness. During her tenure, she focused on Mayor Hogsett’s downtown recovery strategy and flipping the switch on messaging around downtown’s $9 billion rebound through major public-private development projects like Circle Centre Mall, the sixth expansion of the Indiana Convention Center, and SPARK on the Circle. In addition to her tenure in public service, Hannah served as the communications director and spokeswoman for Joe Hogsett’s successful mayoral election bid in 2023.
In 2022, Hannah was awarded the Rising Star Award from IU’s Neal Marshall Alumni Club and Junior Achievement’s Best and Brightest finalist. In 2019, Hannah was nominated for IndyHub’s 1828 Leadership Project Class IX. Hannah was recommended by Rep. Andre Carson (IN-7) in 2018 to serve as an American delegate for the U.S. Congress – Republic of Korea National Assembly Exchange Program, a joint exchange focused on United States and Korean bilateral relations.
Hannah is an Indianapolis native and proud alumna North Central High School and Indiana University. At IU, she was a Hudson & Holland Scholar and studied Media Advertising, Public Relations & Strategic Communications with a minor in Political Science.
Hannah resides in downtown Indy and spends her free time supporting the arts and culture scene, yoga, and the latest pop culture news.
