Maria Lanasa is an Account Executive at VOX Global, working in the Sustainability Strategy & Reporting practice group. She assists various companies with the implementation of their sustainability and corporate responsibility initiatives, ensuring alignment with international reporting standards and developing effective communication strategies. In navigating the dynamic environmental, social, and governance (ESG) landscape, Maria tracks policies and media trends, leveraging data analytics to drive progress in corporate ESG initiatives.

Prior to joining VOX, her experience spans across ESG, including the advancement of sustainable strategies at BeiGene, a global biotechnology company. In addition, Maria has contributed to strategic initiatives through her roles at the University of Maryland’s College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, where she supported collegiate communications and provided support for environmental and social projects.

Maria holds dual degrees from the University of Maryland in Environmental Science & Policy and Operations Management & Business Analytics.
