With an extensive background in grassroots advocacy, Allison brings to VOX an expertise in the areas of media relations, consumer finance and community engagement. Allison is a member of the Media Relations and Financial Services practice groups, along with the marketing task force.

Throughout her time at VOX, Allison has provided media strategy for clients spanning the financial services and technology industries and for nonprofit organizations. She supports internal and external communications engagement strategies on topics such as consumer finance regulation, new payment technologies and corporate community engagement initiatives. Allison also manages VOX’s pro-bono client, a domestic violence prevention organization, developing strategic communications campaigns that include earned media, stakeholder engagement and event planning.

Outside of work, you will find Allison volunteering as Communications Director in Washington, DC’s NOW chapter, leading the chapter on media relations and social media and engaging in local policy.

Allison’s campaign experience began with managing several grassroots advocacy campaigns on UGA’s campus and in Athens, GA, including issues of economic justice and affordable access to childcare.

Allison is currently pursuing a Master’s in Political Management at the Graduate School of Political Management at The George Washington University. She graduated from the University of Georgia (UGA) cum laude with a dual degree in International Affairs and Women’s Studies.

Allison is a Georgia native who still cheers on her favorite Georgia teams – the Braves, Falcons and Dawgs – and always finds time to scout out live bluegrass concerts in the area.
