Emily is a Managing Supervisor with VOX’s Indianapolis office, where she helps clients develop and execute forward-thinking strategic communications campaigns.
As a member of the firm’s education and nonprofit practice group, Emily supports some of the nation’s leading foundations, social benefit organizations and corporate citizens as they communicate their impact and advocacy efforts. She also serves on VOX’s social media practice group, where she helps clients amplify their messages using the latest online platforms and tools.
Emily combines an expertise in writing, media relations and digital strategy to craft communications campaigns that resonate with right audiences, drive awareness and inspire action around issues that matter. She also provides counsel to clients as they design and build best-in-class signature philanthropy and corporate giving programs.
Prior to VOX, Emily represented C-SPAN in its national marketing and community relations campaign during the 2012 presidential election cycle. She also interned with the State of Indiana under Governor Mitch Daniels’s administration.
Emily has received a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Diamond Award for excellence in external relations in the East Central District (Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia). She has also been honored with a Pinnacle Award from the PRSA Hoosier Chapter for media relations.
Emily holds a B.A. in English writing from DePauw University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude. Out of the office, Emily enjoys cooking, volunteering and exploring Indy with her rescue dog, Otto.
