Francesca works with organizations to design and execute communications campaigns that shift belief and change behavior – for example, changing Gen Z’s perception of jobs in mainline industries, and getting people to enroll in education and job training. She helped start and collaborates extensively with VOX Global’s behavioral science and data analytics teams to develop communications strategies focused on eliciting action.
Francesca brings extensive experience in journalism, education policy and advocacy communications to her role at VOX. As co-chair of the firm’s education and nonprofit practice group, she collaborates extensively with foundations, corporations, governments and nonprofit clients that view communications as a tool for driving change in the public interest.
Prior to joining VOX, Francesca served as Vice President of Policy and Communications for The Mind Trust, a nonprofit focused on transforming K-12 education in Indianapolis. In that role, Francesca oversaw the organization’s work to advance state and local policy initiatives and developed and executed its external communications strategy.
Francesca began her career as a reporter for the Indianapolis Star, where she covered public safety and Indianapolis city government and earned a first-place award for criminal justice reporting from the Society of Professional Journalists, Indiana chapter.
Her five-year tenure in journalism also includes covering state and local government, banking and finance for the Indianapolis Business Journal. In her time at those publications, Francesca delivered a weekly TV business report on Indianapolis’ FOX affiliate and appeared on several national television shows.
Francesca graduated cum laude from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism. She serves as a mentor with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana and is a member of the Indy Chamber’s Local Government and Fiscal Policy Committee and an alumnus of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series.
In her spare time, Francesca enjoys running and practicing yoga and is a certified yoga instructor. She lives with her husband and two children in Indianapolis
