Sam works with a variety of clients to develop and execute communications campaigns that impact public policy and corporate reputation. Whether he is rolling out a new corporate initiative, performing stakeholder outreach or helping a client manage a crisis, Sam has experience developing messaging and strategies that effectively integrate into larger campaigns or corporate objectives.
At VOX, Sam works with clients in wide range of industries including telecommunications, financial services and cybersecurity. He has done extensive work on electronic payments, and he provides strategic council and serves as an on-the-record spokesperson for a leading financial services coalition. His experience with stakeholder relations includes helping a Fortune 10 information and communications technology company to develop and manage relationships with leading disability advocates. He has also helped clients to manage and communicate around global data breaches.
Sam began his career in politics as a deputy regional field director for the Maine Democratic Party’s 2008 coordinated campaign, where he developed and managed an extensive network of volunteers and organizations to build grassroots support for Democratic candidates.
Sam has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in Economics and International Studies.
Sam lives with his wife and their dog on Capitol Hill and spends his free time outdoors, skiing, sailing and cycling.
