Sam works with clients to develop and execute communications campaigns that impact public policy, drive corporate reputation and navigate complex media environments. Whether proactively rolling out new initiatives, responding to policy threats or managing reputation-threatening crises, he believes that successful campaigns and lasting relationships are built when clients’ core business strategies are kept top of mind.

At VOX Global, Sam works across a range of industries including enterprise and consumer technology, financial services, telecommunications and energy and natural resources. He helps clients to build stakeholder relationships, position themselves in the media and develop messaging that resonates with key policymakers and influencers in Washington, DC and state capitals around the country.

Sam began his career in politics as a deputy regional field director for the Maine Democratic Party’s 2008 coordinated campaign, where he developed and managed an extensive network of volunteers and organizations to build grassroots support for Democratic candidates.

Sam has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colby College in Economics and International Studies.

Sam lives with his wife, two children and their dog on Capitol Hill.
