As a Managing Director, Alex co-Chairs the VOX ESG and Corporate Affairs practice group and oversees the DC office for VOX Global.
Before joining VOX, Alex spent four years at Sprint, now T-Mobile where he led the company’s CSR and sustainability communications efforts including the award-winning national product launch of Sprint’s first eco-friendly marketed wireless device. At Sprint, Alex managed external communications for Sprint’s corporate and consumer focused sustainability initiatives including topics such as wireless recycling, sustainable product design, alternative energy use and employee engagement. He also led community affairs for the DC region.
Prior to Sprint, Alex worked at the National Football League for the Washington Commanders where he was hired to build out a community relations program for the team from the ground up, including the establishment of the team’s 501c3 non-profit foundation. As Director of Charitable Foundation and Community Affairs, Alex oversaw the creation of the team’s signature community programs, which are still active today, and managed relationships with team sponsors, local media and government officials.
Alex started his career in Boston with Arnold Worldwide working on community relations programs for clients including McDonald’s, Volkswagen of North America and Fleet Bank.
A graduate of Bates College in Lewiston, Maine Alex lives in Falls Church, Virginia with his wife and two teenage daughters and serves on the Board of McLean Youth Soccer and is on the Bates College Alumni Council. In his spare time, Alex is a self-professed weather geek who has been known to check multiple doppler radar apps on his smartphone when severe weather strikes.
