Charlee leads client relationships and helps organizations navigate their communications and public affairs needs. She works with leading foundations, international non-profits, corporate partnerships, education organizations and conservation groups, developing strategies that include media relations, marketing, social media, and policy advocacy. With expertise in higher education policy, workforce development, and government communications, she helps non-profits and foundations create strategies that achieve real results.
Charlee has spoken at numerous industry events throughout her career at VOX and during her time in state government, sharing insights on education policy, workforce development and strategic communications.
Prior to joining VOX, Charlee led marketing and communications at the Indiana Commission for Higher Education and spent nine years in communications at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, where she wrote award-winning feature articles. She started her career in journalism and photography and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism with a music minor from Franklin College.
Charlee is active in her church and lives on the west side of Indianapolis with her husband and two daughters.
