Before joining VOX, Courtney worked at Hertz, managing sustainability reporting and environmental initiatives. She led the annual GHG inventory calculations, assurance and CDP disclosures, developed in-house capabilities for calculating and reporting corporate clients’ business travel emissions, and contributed to the creation and ongoing disclosure of Hertz’s inaugural sustainability and impact report. Previously, Courtney worked for an environmental health and safety consulting firm, where she specialized in researching and converting laws and regulations into user-friendly registries to help clients ensure operational compliance.
Courtney earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in environmental engineering from Florida Gulf Coast University and Syracuse University, respectively. Her academic focus included sustainable enterprises and green infrastructure, with a master’s thesis researching the efficacy of green roofs in mitigating stormwater runoff. Outside of work, Courtney enjoys reading, hiking, thrifting, and adventuring with her dog, Moose.
