Before joining VOX, Humberto freelanced with numerous non-profit organizations and local businesses to develop all kinds of design solutions; from a complete re-brand and website refresh for Helder Electrical Contractors to creating event graphics and promotional material for Spanish Eastern District Ministries, where event attendance could reach 5,000+.
Humberto graduated cum laude from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. While in school, he worked as a Student Marketing Assistant for business services, creating diverse digital and print media. He also served as a chapter officer for the Professional Association for Design and participated in a fellowship with the GMU Office of Student Scholarship, Creative Activities, and Research, where he assisted with the front-end development of an online web tool called TATA that would analyze human RNA to help discover possible diseases in patients before symptoms occur.
Outside of work, Humberto is an avid photographer who always has his camera ready to capture a moment. He enjoys all kinds of photography subjects, but his favorite subjects are the great landscapes of America’s national parks. When he’s not on a hike or taking photos, you’ll likely catch him watching a good movie or hanging out with his friends and family.
