James manages impactful advocacy campaigns, crafts communications strategies that build and protect reputations, and guides clients through high-stakes moments such as crises, mergers and acquisitions. His collaborative work with CEOs and other C-suite executives ensures their visibility and engagement with key stakeholders is both meaningful and effective. James brings expertise across numerous industries. He has shaped media and policy narratives on topics like AI deployment, the higher education enrollment cliff, international trade, the energy transition, antitrust, and data privacy.
As head of the Behavioral Insights practice, he applies data and behavioral science to craft action-driven campaigns. James also leads the firm’s AI integration and serves on VOX’s Executive Committee while overseeing the Texas team.
James holds a Master’s in Behavioral Science from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s in Speech Communication from Texas A&M University, where he serves on the Department of Communication and Journalism Alumni Advisory Board.
