Before joining VOX, Nena held internships at the ACLU of Maine, AmeriCorps, and the Pro Bono Institute, which strengthened her communications skills and set the course for her impactful journey at VOX.
Nena is a Colby College class of 2022 graduate where she majored in Government and Global Studies. At Colby, Nena was an active leader in and outside of campus, having been closely involved with the Colby Office of Civic Engagement, Colby Museum, Goldfarb Center of Public Affairs and Student Government.
In her free time, Nena finds joy in exploring museums around DC, going on nature walks, and visiting her family in Houston, TX.
