Vice President

Nik is a Vice President with VOX Global. He specializes in helping corporations and advocacy groups navigate and effectively communicate in the complex energy and sustainability landscape.

Nik’s work spans a wide range of issues, from how to meet America’s growing needs for reliable, affordable and increasingly clean power to sustainable finance and corporate sustainability. He focuses on media relations, identifying news hooks, landing interviews and stories and building long-term relationships with relevant journalists on behalf of his clients. Nik currently works with companies across the energy, financial services and telecommunications sectors as well as with several energy-focused advocacy groups. Throughout his career, he has also supported leading NGOs such as Conservation International and the Atlantic Council. On behalf of his clients, Nik has secured coverage in top-tier outlets like Bloomberg, CNBC, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post as well as trade media such as Cipher, E&E News, Trellis and TriplePundit.

In addition to media relations, Nik provides strategic communications counsel and helps clients plan and execute their presence at major energy and sustainability events, including CERAWeek, Climate Week NYC and the annual COP climate conference.

Before joining VOX, Nik worked in public affairs at The Richards Group in Dallas, providing communications services to local and national nonprofits in the conservation, education and human services spaces. He also interned with the German embassy in Washington, D.C., where he supported the diplomatic staff in analyzing domestic and foreign policy trends in the U.S.

Nik is originally from Germany and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Mannheim. In his free time, he likes to garden, read and explore Nashville with his wife, Melanie.
