As a member of VOX’s corporate responsibility & reputation practice group, Nik supports some of the nation’s leading companies in shaping and communicating their work on issues such as climate change, energy, sustainable finance and biodiversity. He focuses on media relations, working to identify news hooks, develop assets for media outreach, pitch announcements and build long-term relationships with relevant outlets. Nik currently serves as lead agency partner on energy and environment media relations for two Fortune 25 companies. He’s also worked with leading environmental NGOs such as Conservation International and the Atlantic Council’s Adrienne Arsht-Rockefeller Foundation Resilience Center. On behalf of his clients, Nik has secured coverage in top-tier national outlets like Bloomberg, The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal as well as trade media such as GreenBiz, Sustainable Brands and TriplePundit.
Before joining VOX, Nik served as a public affairs intern at The Richards Group in Dallas, providing communications services to local and national nonprofits in the conservation, education and human services spaces. He also interned with the German embassy in Washington, D.C., where he supported the diplomatic staff in analyzing domestic and foreign policy trends in the U.S.
Nik is originally from Germany and holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Mannheim. In his free time, he likes to garden, read and explore Nashville with his wife, Melanie.
