Sarah brings to her clients a deep knowledge of executive thought leadership, employee engagement and corporate public affairs, anchored by a passion for politics. Her expertise is built on more than 20 years of experience including working in-house for a Fortune 10 communications company, on state-level initiative campaigns in California, on driving employee engagement and culture shifts, and addressing labor relations challenges.

Sarah is a senior member of VOX Global’s Employee Engagement and Labor Communications practice group, supporting clients with labor relations communications and campaigns. Her work also includes supporting clients’ internal communications with a focus on culture shifts, employee morale and organizational change.

Sarah has extensive experience working supporting organizations representing a variety of sectors (e.g., communications, financial services, health care, food and beverage, and higher ed) facing challenges from labor unions.

She also develops strategic executive thought leadership campaigns, including events, media and awards, having supported C-Suite executives in the communications, technology and financial services sectors.

Prior to joining VOX, Sarah worked with the Sacramento office of FleishmanHillard as an in-house consultant to SBC Communications (now AT&T). As an integral part of the SBC California legislative affairs team, she helped formulate and execute legislative, regulatory and political initiatives. Before joining FleishmanHillard, Sarah worked for Public Strategies Inc., a public affairs consulting firm based in Austin, Texas.

Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Union College in Schenectady, New York and her Master of Public Policy and Administration from California State University, Sacramento. She lives with her husband, A.J., and their three children, in Sacramento.
