At VOX, Tim has worked with many of the nation’s most prominent brands to advance their communications and policy priorities in Washington, D.C. Drawing on a deep understanding of the political, regulatory, and media landscapes, he helps clients anticipate and navigate complex challenges — from major legislative initiatives like the Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and COVID-19 relief packages to intricate federal rulemaking and CFIUS review processes.
Tim also plays a leading role in VOX’s energy and sustainability work, guiding clients’ engagement at some of the world’s premier energy forums — including COP, CERAWeek, and New York Climate Week — to ensure strategic visibility and meaningful participation. In addition, he counsels organizations on developing and leveraging owned content and digital campaigns that resonate with key audiences and drive measurable impact.
Before joining VOX, Tim spent nearly a decade on Capitol Hill, where he served in senior communications and policy roles, including Communications Director for a member of the House Armed Services Committee and Legislative Assistant to the Chairman of the House Democratic Caucus. From 2012 to 2014, he served as lead staff for the Task Force on Election Reform, helping craft landmark legislation on campaign finance reform and voting rights.
Tim’s political experience extends beyond the halls of Congress and onto the campaign trail, where he has managed and advised high-profile races across the country. In 2014, he managed a successful U.S. House re-election campaign recognized by the Cook Political Report as one of the cycle’s top overperforming races. His background in political strategy, field organization, and stakeholder engagement continues to inform his work driving advocacy and legislative success for clients.
