Before joining VOX, Yasmin played an integral role on UNICEF USA’s External Communications team, increasing awareness for UNICEF’s mission and funds for its global programming. She pitched news and emergencies while also working on multifaceted national and global campaigns including Mental Health Awareness Month, World Children’s Day, Day of the Girl, UNICEF Market’s “Gifts that Give Back” and more.
Yasmin received both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service where she studied culture, politics and communications. Hoya Saxa!
Growing up overseas in Dubai, Yasmin is fluent in Arabic. In her free time, she enjoys long walks, heated yoga classes and finding new restaurants in the DMV.
