Prior to joining VOX, Yasmin was at UNICEF USA, where she played an integral role on the External Communications Team increasing awareness for UNICEF’s mission and programming. She had a core focus on News and Emergencies while also working on multifaceted national and global campaigns, including Mental Health Awareness Month, World Children’s Day, UNICEF Market “Gifts that Give Back”, the annual UNICEF USA Gala and more.
Yasmin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Culture and Politics from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, where she also went on to also receive her Master of Arts in the Engaged and Public Humanities. Hoya Saxa!
Growing up overseas in Dubai, Yasmin is fluent in Arabic. In her free time, she enjoys long walks, heated yoga classes and trying new restaurants in the DMV.
